  • Create a new GOOGLE DOC for Bellwork saved as Week of Nov 3rd
  • Today is the LAST DAY for your Politics Project. GET IT TURNED IN (that means you need to focus today)
    • Some of you are a little confused. Here is a quick summary of what to do (see the project document for more details)
      • Here is an easy break down:
        • Pick a Candidate/topic and do the research part (with the quotes and stuff)
        • Use that information to write a 30 second commercial for your candidate (make sure to say their name 3 times, tell people to vote for that candidate, make it interesting and use the quotes and information from the 1st section). Make sure to read it aloud and time it.
        • Find images online that match up to your commercial words (so if you are talking about education, find pictures of education)
        • Break your commercial script apart and add the pictures in so that it is easy to see what is being said during each image (see the Minion example)
        • Turn it in

Monday, September 15th and Tuesday, September 16th

  • Bellwork--You will need to create a Folder in your Google Drive under Media Analysis named Bellwork (so you will have NOTES and now Bellwork), in this folder create a Document and name it Week of Sept 15. You will add all the Bellwork for the week to this and turn it in on Fridays (or when instructed)
    • Monday--What company have you selected for your project? What do you think about the logo changes that have taken place with your company?
    • Tuesday--Why is the hotel chain Radisson suspending their sponsorship of the Minnesota Vikings? What do you think? (check out the article here for more details)
  • Complete your Project
  • When you are ready to turn it in, you will go to http://classroom.google.com

  • Ask Mrs. Ferris for help in submitting your project for grading.

  • Complete the notes from last Friday (I know many of you lost some of it so I am giving you time today)
    • Remember, you just need to have the FIVE Concepts AND the FIVE Questions in your notes (you can add details/reminders that you might need to the notes).
  • DO NOT share them with me yet, I am going to show you how to turn them in today using Google Classroom
